X-Factor (36) Division Game

By: www.coolmath-games.com

You’ll need to be quick of thinking and quick to hit the right target in this multiplication game.

A line of balls is working its way around a track towards a hole at the end, and it’s up to you to stop them before they get there. Each of the balls has a number on, and you can remove them by shooting at them with another number that, when the two are multiplied together, reaches 36. Get it wrong, and the ball you shoot adds to the line, inching it closer to the hole and game over! But get enough right and you can remove the line completely and move on to the next level.

This is an online activity suitable for second to fourth graders, and also introduces the idea of perspective, with some of the tracks running on ramps that hide them away from you.

There are links to other versions of the games for different target numbers too, so pick the one you want to test your skills with and off you go!
