Order of Operations Online Math Problems

By: www.thatquiz.org

This is a simple ten-question test of your skills when it comes to order of operations.

With problems suitable for students in fourth and fifth grade, this is a good early introduction to the principles of order of operations – the order in which you solve different parts of a math problem. Parts in brackets should be first, followed by any exponents, then multiplication and division, then addition and subtraction. Work from left to right for similar elements. There are no exponents here, so only three of the orders are being tested.

The puzzle keeps track of how many answers you got right – and how long you took, and you can share your results on Facebook, Twitter and Google+ to show off your skills!
