A very simple quiz, this is less of a game and more of a useful practice drill for learning about place values.
It asks you a series of questions, asking you to identify the number in a particular place value – from the ones position through to the hundreds of thousands position.
The quiz keeps track of how many you have correct, and how many incorrect, and tells you what percentage you have right. A timer ticks by too.
There are three ways to play a game – see how many you can get right in 60 seconds, gain extra time for each correct answer, or try 20 questions against the clock. Or you can just try the practice session, which lets you answer questions without worrying about beating the clock.
Useful for 3rd and 4th graders, but probably more as a way of training what they already know rather than a way of discovering new skills.
