Selecting text by clicking the mouse
Selecting text with the mouse in Word and other word processors is usually the quickest and most efficient way to highlight the words you need.
As this video will demonstrate, there are several tips and tricks for using the mouse with text that you may not be familiar with, instead of simply clicking and dragging (although that is also a very effective method).
For instance, clicking in the left margin of a line will select its entire corresponding line.
Quick steps like these will save you time when you need to modify or cut large sections of a document. They are especially useful when preparing a document with a lot of formatting requirements, like a press release.
