Moving text by using the context menu

You can download here the document from this video to practice it by yourself!

Instead of the traditional copy and paste, you can include a step by using the “Cut” feature. This is for when you have a selection of text in the wrong area and want to completely move it, not just copy it.

You can skip typing it out again by highlighting the text and selecting Cut from the context menu. Your text will be deleted, but don’t worry! Using Cut in this manner has the added bonus of copying the text, so you can then just hit Paste to put it wherever you like.

This is probably the best method for quickly moving text around, while simultaneously deleting it from its original location.

Remember that you can hit CTRL+Z at any time to undo an edit if you change your mind about it.
